Privacy Policy

Your conversations belong to you. Here, in plain words: what we know about you, why, and how you control it.

Version under reviewWe write in plain language so everyone understands. The final version takes effect after legal review, before the app launches.

Version of 25 October 2026

1. What we know about you

  • Your phone number: it lets you sign in and lets friends find you.
  • What you add to your profile: name, username, photo, bio.
  • Contacts from your phone book, but only if you allowed syncing.
  • Your messages, calls, Moments and broadcasts, to deliver them to the people you address them to.
  • Data about devices and sign-ins, to protect your account.

2. Why we need it

  • So messages and calls arrive, and Moments and broadcasts are seen only by those you chose.
  • To notice a suspicious sign-in and warn you.
  • To keep izzi stable and keep making it better.
  • To meet legal requirements where mandatory.

3. Who we share it with

  • We do not sell your data or show it to advertisers.
  • We use reliable services for message delivery, notifications and storage. They work on our instructions and only to run izzi.
  • Data goes to authorities only when the law requires it.

4. How long we keep it

  • While you use izzi and as long as needed for security and running the service.
  • When you delete your account, we delete your data, except what we must keep by law or to protect other people.

5. You decide

  • See, correct or delete your data.
  • Withdraw the contacts permission at any time.
  • Choose who sees your Moments.
  • Close extra sessions and delete your account.

6. Security

We protect data with technical and organizational measures, close extra access and warn you about suspicious sign-ins.
